Most rowers have, at one time or another, experienced the joy of slide-bite. That lovely sensation of metal rails digging into the backs of your calves, sometimes leaving scars.
Calf Armor is made with Chito-X, a midweight fabric that is still wicking and breathable. Against the calf, there is a layer of polar fleece for padding. There is grip elastic around the upper cuff to keep them in place while in use.
